Summary: After leaving another resort we booked Sandyport and immediately knew we had made the right choice. The staff were incredibly accommodating, personable and fun and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and to dinner. We felt relaxed and it was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Quiet complex. Restaurants on the property are not part of the resort and are quite expensive. Great location, helpful friendly staff.

Summary: The property is wonderful, but the people are the highlight! First, we met Taj. Upon arrival, he took care of our bags and immediately made us feel like we were being welcomed by family. Pam, at the front desk treated us like VIP guests, even though we were staying in one of smaller rooms for only 3 days. We were early for check in, so we went to the Blue Sail restaurant at the back of the property for lunch and a Kalik! Our bartender was Shakira. She was so much fun and once again, we felt like we were the most important guests in the place. Finally, we met Kyle, an engineer at the property. Every day, Kyle went out of his way to greet us and spend a little time with us. He even climbed a tree to get us a fresh coconut that he skillfully cut open a served to us with a straw. Any place can keep their property clean and presentable. It is rare to find a place where every single person that you encounter adds another level of enjoyment to your visit. As soon as one smile fades, you run into someone else who put another one on your face! If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay in Nassau, we can recommend Sandyport Beach Resort enough. If you go, tell everyone we said hello!!

Summary: The servers at The Conch Shack and the servers at The Blue Sail and other restaurants in the area were the highlight of the trip. They were so incredibly welcoming and just great at building an amazing experience. Without them, the other issues listed would have overwhelmingly made the experience a negative one. The property and the immediate surrounding area was very walkable. It had somewhere to get nearly anything. Overall, the layout of the resort and service staff were great. I had a few issues during my stay that we're not addressed sufficiently. My air conditioner leaked, I reported it twice and never received an update. I placed a towel on the floor to try to catch the water. I turned the temperature higher than desired to minimize the leaking which made the last two days uncomfortable. The room was too warm and developed a damp smell. Additionally, the room wasn't stocked well during the stay. My room ran out of toilet paper in the early morning of my last night. The reception staff had no options for replacement and suggested napkins. I took a giant roll from the reception bathroom. There was some issues sourcing water, as well. There should be a better system set up for overnight restock of essentials. The taxi system on the entire island is not ideal. There was no standard of contact or service and the pricing seemed to be based more on what they could get away with charging. The property has Internet. I had an account hacked the second night of my trip.

Summary: The entire staff was excellent! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! The overall property had a relaxed, easygoing vibe and was a perfect get-away for us. The nearby dining options were good and the beach had an amazing view along with two different dining options.

Summary: The beach is not clean, there’s a lot of stones in the water and glass on the sand. The lagoon is beautiful but there’s not much to do there. The water slides at the pool don’t work well and they were disappointing for my kid. It’s just a place to relax snd it’s quiet. The problem is that it’s severele overpriced for whst it offers and the staff is not too welcoming. The price of food at restaurants inside the resort or a litgle bit outside is ridiculously expensive.. and this is coming from someone that lives in NYC. I would recommend Bahamar if you can afford it.. that resort as a beautiful beach and it’s worth spending time on that beach even if you don’t stay there.

Summary: Thank you for a wonderful first solo trip! I stayed for only 3 nights including travel time. The staff were incredibly hospitable and kind from check in to check out. I didn’t opt for any excursions but there was plenty to do on the resort itself within the short time I spent there. I felt safe and the restaurants around had great food. Beware the food portions are large (US sized!). Spritz was lovely and I was able to see turtles and rays swim by while having dinner, so lovely.
